Changes were made to the folder icon, ic's -16455 the finder icon, both versions 1 and 2 for the information box, cicns -12288, -12887, -12872 for improved black and white support, and both pictures 14320 and 14336 were redesigned and improved.
Introduction:
This is a new Kaleidoscope 1.7 Railroad Scheme number twenty three. This scheme is based on the Santa Fe colours of red, silver, and dark yellow. I could not reproduce the silver color because "Silver and gold don't really fall into a monitor's colour space; it can't do that glow." Quote from Lloyd Wood. So I used the closest gray that I could find to the silver colour. This is also the brightest scheme that I have release so far.
This new Santa Fe 1.7 scheme features many improvements including the improvement of scroll tracks complete with a Santa Fe diesel engine and caboose which moves across the scroll bars now on a single track line. New also are the appearance of freight cars on the finder windows. There is some major changes made to the inactive, and empty scroll bars.
Installation:
Drag the Santa Fe1.7 file into the "Kaleidoscope Color Schemes folder", which is located in the "Extension folder", of your "System folder". Then selected the Santa Fe 1.7 file from your "Kaleidoscope Control Panel".
